Senior Account Executive

About the Role:

We are looking for an Account Executive to contribute to our growth efforts in the SME space, which we define as companies with $250M-$1B in annual sales! This individual will be focused on the seller side of our marketplace and will split their time between prospecting potential clients, converting new business, and growing existing clients by driving them to use our marketplace more frequently and selling them our SaaS product.

This individual will join the SME team and play a key role in the broader sales organization. They will help define best practices for these customers, collaborate closely with our Product, Support, Marketing, and Operations teams, and help us deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

What you'll do

  • Own your pipeline from start to finish
  • Identify channels to generate leads
  • Cold call and conduct email outreach to prospects
  • Present and demonstrate our products and benefits to convert new customer
  • Develop long-lasting relationships with clients ensure continued engagement and growth with existing clients
  • Communicate regularly with existing clients and prospects to raise awareness about our
  • products and solutions. 
  • Work alongside the client success team to facilitate onboarding new clients. 
  • Meaningfully influence our Products: Leverage your customer interactions to generate and share insights with our product and engineering teams to help refine our product and build out the next great feature.

What we're looking for:

  • 2-5 years of sales or account management experience, preferably at a startup or in the technology space
  • Track record of building relationships and closing deals with customers across varying industries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Experience or strong interest in working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and our leadership to influence company wide initiatives
  • Self-starter attitude and the willingness to "roll up your sleeves"
  • Passion for environmental causes and for building a business from the ground up!
